Mechanical Oil Drilling Rig
Mechanical Oil Drilling Rig for Reliable Onshore and Conventional Drilling Operations
The Mechanical
Oil Drilling Rig is a conventional land drilling system powered by diesel
engines and mechanical transmission components. Unlike electric or
compound-drive rigs, it uses gearboxes, chains, couplings, and shafts to
distribute power from the prime movers to the drawworks, rotary table, and mud
pumps. This proven design offers exceptional reliability, simple maintenance,
and cost-effective operation in a wide range of drilling environments.
Mechanical oil
drilling rigs have been widely deployed across oil and gas fields due to their
rugged construction and ability to operate independently of complex electrical
infrastructure. The system utilizes heavy-duty drawworks, mechanical rotary
drives, hydraulic disc or band brakes, and electromagnetic eddy current
auxiliary braking systems to ensure safe and efficient drilling performance.
Available
in drilling depth capacities from 1,100 m to 7,000 m, the Mechanica Oil Drilling
Rig series provides flexible solutions for shallow, medium, and deep drilling
projects while maintaining compliance with international drilling equipment
standards.
