Releasing Sub

The DKJ Reversing Sub, also known as a reversing spear, is a special downhole tool designed for reversing stuck drill stems above the stuck point during drilling and workover operations. The tool is widely used in fishing and reversing applications where drill strings or fish become stuck and cannot be recovered through standard operations.

During reversing operations, the reversing sub functions similarly to a fishing pin tap, securely engaging the fish while transmitting reversing torque through the drill string. If the fish cannot be reversed or retrieved successfully, the reversing sub enables safe disengagement, allowing the fishing assembly to be tripped out of the hole.
